In the Regional Gawad Teodora Alonzo Storybook Writing Contest held in Tarlac City last Nov. 9, Bataan earned a coveted spot in the upcoming National Level Competition in Davao City.
The winning writer and illustrator tandem of Erwin Mallari of Saguing Elem. School and Alyzza Guevarra of Roosevelt Elem School resulted in captivating storybook and illustrations that stood out in the regional competition.
Another exceptional writer-illustrator duo, Rhodora Lacson of Pantalan Luma Elem. School and Jaycee Rodriguez of Kabalutan Elem. School, both from Orani District also secured a place in the national competition with their outstanding entries.
